James Taylor, a BC Excels participant developing new technology at the Centre for Drug Research & Development, described his experience as “exceptionally worthwhile and a great platform for anyone developing a new life science technology to jump-start their venture.” James went on to describe the value he gained from one on one mentoring and open dialogues with all the mentors together as well as with the other participants. "The mentors provide exposure to a wealth of experience while the other participants serve as real-world case studies.”
Other graduating participants include: Romich Biotechnology Fund, Sirona Biochem, Aegis Medical Innovations, and Kardium.

2010 BC Excels participants and mentors graduate at the 2010 Salmon BBQ.
