Don M. Enns
President

Don Enns has been a leader in British Columbia’s life sciences industry for over 25 years, overseeing expansion opportunities in Southeast Asian, the United States and European markets, managing mergers and acquisitions and consulting on behalf of international agencies, such as the United Nations Development Program.
 
Don has been President of LifeSciences BC since September 2010. Prior, he was President and CEO of CANTEST Ltd., a B.C.-based company that provides analytical and clinical services in support for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food safety industries. Through Don’s leadership, CANTEST experienced significant growth, and was recognized as one of the 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada by Deloitte and one of the 25 Best Companies to Work For in B.C. by BC Business Magazine.
 
Don is a director or advisory member for several organizations, including World Wildlife Fund Canada and Genome BC, and is focused on issues concerning trade, education, engineering and public health.
 
Don graduated from Trinity Western University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and later obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in 1987.


           

 
           

Rosine Hage-Moussa
Manager, Programs and Outreach
        
Rosine Hage-Moussa has over 15 years  of experience in the life sciences sector, which includes marketing, event planning, administration and program management for academic, industry and not-for-profit organizations. She has been with LifeSciences BC since May 2008 and oversees events and programs. Rosine also manages the Sanofi BioGENEius Challenge Canada in B.C.
 
Prior to joining LifeSciences BC, Rosine was an assistant at a clinical research organization conducting drug trials in patients with bone metabolic disorders.

Rosine is a Director with the Society of Canadian Women in Science and Technology, and is an accomplished Toastmaster. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of British Columbia.

Po On Yeung
Manager, Membership           

Po On joined LifeSciences BC in June 2009, and is the primary person to contact for information about memberships and sponsorships. She is responsible for membership development, recruitment and retention and leads LifeSciences BC’s Business Solutions Program.

Po On holds a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University, with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Kinesiology. She earned a Co-Operative Education Certificate alongside her degree for completing work terms with the British Columbia Institute of Technology, the University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Innovation Council.
 
In her spare time, Po On volunteers with DigiBC and sits on the organizing committee for Science Fair Foundation BC’s Annual Fun Run.

Jason Lesage
Manager, Communications and Public Relations 

Jason has over ten years of communications and public affairs experience in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors. Most recently, he worked in public affairs with Mitacs Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization that fosters R&D and innovation across Canada. Prior to Mitacs, Jason worked with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, the Government of B.C. and the Mayor’s Office in Vancouver.

Jason also volunteers his time as a Director with the Canadian Club of Vancouver, an organization that fosters fellowship among citizens and celebrates community stewardship. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria, a Certificate in Public Relations from Langara College and is in the midst of completing a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business.
