We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Greg D’Avignon as the newest member of our Board of Directors (see bio).

With this final appointment, we have now successfully established BC AHSN’s first permanent board – an outstanding group of leaders from different sectors who are all committed to representing the public interest through their governance role. BC AHSN’s Board members are:

  • Dr. Charles Jago (Chair)
  • Dr. Brendan Byrne
  • Ms. Robin Ciceri
  • Ms. Delia Cooper
  • Dr. Heather Davidson
  • Mr. Greg D’Avignon
  • Dr. Dermot Kelleher
  • Mr. Richard Rees
  • Ms. Tamara Vrooman

Stepping down from his position as a founding Director is Dr. Martin Schechter, who will continue to serve BC AHSN in the new position of Science Advisor to the Board. This role will provide scientific and technical advice to the Board of Directors regarding health research.

On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I’d like to welcome Greg to the Board and to extend our gratitude to Martin for his ongoing leadership and support.
