Vancouver, November 6, 2019 Today, LifeSciences BC, a non-profit, industry association which supports and represents the life sciences community of British Columbia, and Lumira Ventures, a leading North American healthcare venture capital firm, will host the 4th annual LifeSciences BC’s Investor Summit in Vancouver, BC. The event brings together industry stakeholders from the healthcare innovation ecosystem for company pitching and fostering strategic partnerships with international investors. The day kicks off with a keynote address from the Honourable Bruce Ralston, Minister of Jobs, Trade & Technology.

As the driving force of the event, more than 30 digital health, therapeutics, and medical technology entrepreneurs from British Columbia’s life sciences industry will have the opportunity to present their company’s story and receive feedback and engagement from a wide range of investor stakeholders including angel investors, venture capitalists, corporate ventures and funding foundations.

Also attending are representatives from 13 innovative European organizations looking at Canada as their next international strategic market. These organization’s goals complement the Investor Summit’s purpose and provide the opportunity to further develop our local life sciences sector both here at home and abroad.
