Life Sciences BC was pleased to announce the 9th annual Invest in BC presented by Lumira Ventures. This highly anticipated event served as a premier gathering for life sciences innovators in British Columbia, connecting them with investors and potential partners locally, nationally, and around the world.

We had over 70 confirmed investors registered, who were eager to make meaningful connections with BC-based companies. We welcomed the life sciences ecosystem to the event, which was a valuable opportunity for gaining business leads, building relationships, attracting capital, and expanding your network.

This year we reimagined the conference, offering attendees a dynamic two-day program featuring 30+ company pitches from pre-seed to public, insightful presentations, and engaging panel discussions, as well as on-site meetings arranged through BIO One-on-One Partnering™.

This partnering system enabled participants to connect and schedule one-on-one meetings with investors, and potential partners including global pharmaceutical companies. The system was used at the BIO International Conferences and is the first time the program is used in Canada.

For the first time ever, Invest in BC presented by Lumira Ventures will offer BIO One-on-One Partnering™! This system makes it easy to identify potential partners and request meetings with investors, business development executives, entrepreneurs and innovators. You secure your meeting opportunities and One-on-One Partnering does the heavy lifting of scheduling your accepted meetings according to your calendar availability, starting a few weeks out from the event.

This will be automatically available to all registered for Conference Tickets of the following types: LSBC Members, Non-Members, Presenting Companies, and Investors.  Access to this platform will not be available for Students, Networking Reception-only Ticket Types, or for purchase separate from the main event.
