Invest in the West presented by Amplitude Ventures was our opportunity to bring together stakeholders in the healthcare innovation ecosystem. Entrepreneurs told their stories and received feedback and engagement from a wide range of investor stakeholders. Investor participants ranged from angel investors, venture capital, corporate venture, and foundations. In addition, tech transfer offices, innovation councils, and government ministries and agencies were also present. It was the opportunity for companies to attract attention, solicit support, and secure investment to aid them in their continued growth trajectory.
The event brought together stakeholders in the life sciences ecosystem for an exciting day of innovative company pitches, presentations, and engaging panel discussions. Companies from across the life sciences community were be invited to apply to pitch from the following sectors: Digital Health, Medical Devices, Medical Technology, Diagnostics, and Biotechnology.
The event was open to companies from: BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories.
