adMare BioInnovations is a pan-Canadian enterprise that partners with Canadian researchers and SMEs to develop innovative therapeutic products. Our focus is on expanding the Canadian life sciences ecosystem by creating new companies of scale, providing specialized expertise and infrastructure to help existing life sciences companies scale up, and driving the growth of those companies into Canadian anchors by training the next generation of highly qualified personnel. Our partnered programs and companies can be supported by direct investment and our internal in-kind resources, which cover the main stages of drug discovery and preclinical drug development, in particular: • Target Validation and deconvolution: Gene expression profiling, genotyping, antigen generation, off-target testing • Assay development: Functional, biochemical, cell-based, biophysical assays • Medicinal chemistry: Expertise in small molecule and peptide drug discovery and Antibody-Drug conjugation (ADC) chemistry. Rational drug design, SAR exploration and lead optimization. Route scouting and scale up capabilities to enable technology transfer • Pharmacology/toxicology: In vitro ADME / toxicology, safety, in vivo pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics • Pharmaceutical preparation: Formulation, solubility, stability, analytical / bioanalytical method development and validation (including human), COG analysis, API release specifications, scale-up and transfer • Biologic development: Antibody generation, characterization, production / optimization, humanization, affinity maturation, manufacturing and cell-line production, regulatory manufacturing, clinical plans and risk and safety assessment • Strategic business development, legal and IP support
