Life Sciences BC Growth Catalyst Project
This project is aimed to support the expansion of BC’s high-growth life sciences companies and make a meaningful impact on the sector. With goals of job creation, revenue growth, and capital attraction, this program is designed to foster regional economic development.
Biotech Business Development & Licensing Masterclass: Blueprint for Success
The Business Development course brings together educational lectures, immersive activities, and real-life stories into a unique 2.5 day curriculum targeted towards biotech companies.
Investor Readiness Program (IRP)
APPLICATIONS CLOSED — Life Sciences BC’s annual Investor Readiness Program (IRP) runs from October to March. It brings together and pairs 10 early-stage B.C. SMEs and 10 EIRs to support those SMEs to become investor ready.
Bio Basics 101: The Biology of Biotech for the Non-Scientist
BioBasics 101: The Biology of Biotech for the Non-Scientist is a two-day course designed to help non-scientists gain a foundational understanding of the science that forms the backbone of biopharma so that you can converse more effectively with colleagues, clients, regulators, and scientists.
Bio Basics 201: The Biology of Biotech for the Non-Scientist
BioBasics 201: Targeted Biologics for the Non-Scientist is an intensive, nine-hour course focused on vaccines, cell therapies, gene therapies, therapeutic antibodies, and RNA-based drugs. BioBasics 201 is designed for the non-scientist who has taken BioBasics 101 or for those who understand the basics of DNA, RNA, proteins, and cell signaling and is taught by industry experts who explain how these complex drugs work in a simple, engaging manner.
