Investor Readiness Program (IRP)
APPLICATIONS CLOSED — Life Sciences BC’s annual Investor Readiness Program (IRP) runs from October to March. It brings together and pairs 10 early-stage B.C. SMEs and 10 EIRs to support those SMEs to become investor ready.
AccelerateIP is a new initiative led by New Ventures BC and prime collaborator Innovate BC that supports hundreds of innovative startups in BC, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories to grow and protect their ideas and intellectual assets.

Bio Basics 201: The Biology of Biotech for the Non-Scientist
REGISTRATION OPEN – BioBasics 201: Targeted Biologics for the Non-Scientist is an intensive, nine-hour course focused on vaccines, cell therapies, gene therapies, therapeutic antibodies, and RNA-based drugs. BioBasics 201 is designed for the non-scientist who has taken BioBasics 101 or for those who understand the basics of DNA, RNA, proteins, and cell signaling and is taught by industry experts who explain how these complex drugs work in a simple, engaging manner.
