Investor Readiness Program (IRP)

February 25, 2021 – LSBC

Life Sciences BC’s annual Investor Readiness Program (IRP) runs from September to March and brings together and pairs 10 early-stage BC SMEs and 10 EIRs to support the SMEs to become investor-ready.  The program is designed around individual coaching and complemented by educational sessions, goal setting, peer-to-peer feedback, conference opportunities and group meetings.  After seven months of development, the program culminates with an investor pitch session where participants use their new skills to pitch to a group of pre-qualified investors.

The unique value of this program is that it will draw upon the expertise and acumen of experienced life science professionals to focus specifically on investor readiness of early-stage life sciences SMEs. Each of the selected EIRs will bring with them many years of sector knowledge and connections. Their experience and professional networks will prove invaluable to the SMEs in the program.

For more information, please contact William Burrows, Director, Business Operations & Programs.

* This program is supported in part by funding from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
