Key Market Relations Leader, Lauren Melzer, Joins HUB International as Chief Marketing Officer for Specialty Practices
Chicago, ILL — Hub International Limited (HUB), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced that Lauren Melzer has joined as Chief Marketing Officer for HUB’s Specialty Carriers. In this new role, Melzer will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to deepen HUB’s relationship with specialty markets. She will report to Scott Rouzer, Senior Vice President Carrier Strategies.
“Lauren brings a depth of knowledge as a market relations leader, as well as experience in developing and executing strategies to grow premium and revenue with carrier and market partners,” said Rouzer. “Her expertise strengthens our industry acuity delivering resources that help our brokers find the best solutions for our clients with specialty carriers and markets.”
Melzer brings 16 years of insurance and leadership experience to HUB. During her time with leading carriers and other brokers, Melzer honed her expertise in sales and business development, creating proprietary and exclusive products and underwriting. She also built and managed internal and external strategic initiatives for carrier growth to maximize profitability and revenue.
