Blakes Breakfast Speaking Event: Update on the Fight Against COVID-19

On Thursday, July 9, 2020, LifeSciences BC held the Summer Blakes Breakfast Speaking Event giving an update on the fight against COVID-19. The Medical Director of the BCCDC Public Health Laboratory gave an update on the current situation within the province, and then the CEOs of both Innovakine Therapeutics and Mesentech gave an overview of their companies. After the presentations, we had a pilot program using Breakout Rooms for 20 minutes to give an opportunity for attendees to directly interact with each other as well as with speakers.
