Investor Readiness Program (IRP)
Life Sciences BC’s annual Investor Readiness Program* (IRP) runs from October to March and pairs early-stage British Columbian (BC) small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIRs) to support the SMEs to become investor-ready. The program is designed around individual coaching and complemented by educational sessions, goal setting, peer-to-peer feedback, conference opportunities and group meetings. After six months of development, the program culminates with an investor pitch session where participants use their new skills to pitch to a group of pre-qualified investors.
The unique value of this program is that it will draw upon the expertise and acumen of experienced life science professionals to focus specifically on investor readiness of early-stage life sciences SMEs. Each of the selected EIRs will bring with them many years of sector knowledge and connections. Their experience and professional networks will prove invaluable to the SMEs in the program.
