ALYSIA GOLKA

Alysia Golka is the Manager of Events at Life Sciences BC. Alysia fuses her passion for events and her love for science to contribute to the growth of the life sciences ecosystem here in BC.

Prior to joining Life Sciences BC, Alysia worked on the Events Team for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.

Earlier in her career, Alysia worked in the brewing industry, where she oversaw the brewing process from “seed to sip” for Labatt Breweries of Canada.

Alysia completed her post-graduate studies in Food Safety Quality Assurance and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Alysia has lived in five Canadian provinces, loves playing soccer, and enjoys hiking with her miniature dachshund.
